What we keep of the details you give us when you book, ask a question, or visit, and what we do with them.
What we collect, and why
The information collected depends on what you choose to do on the site.
When you create an account or use checkout
We store the account, contact and phone details you provide, together with order and payment status from checkout. Booking details are connected with your account so your bookings can be managed.
Class credits and cancellations
We record credit purchases, credit use, bookings and cancellation outcomes so your balance and booking status can be shown. Cancel by the deadline shown with the booking and the credit returns straight away. After the deadline, the place is released and the credit returns if the place is refilled.
Optional saved-payment choice
Your account stores whether you chose to save a payment method for future purchases.
Dietary and allergy information
If a class, event or field trip involving food asks for dietary or allergy information, we use what you provide to help plan for that session.
When a school inquires about a field trip
We receive the school or group details, contact details, preferred dates, attendance information and other planning details entered in the inquiry form. We use them to respond to and plan the inquiry.
When you contact us
We receive the contact details and message you provide and use them to respond to your question.
Marketing choices
If a form offers an optional marketing choice, we use the contact details you provide according to that choice.
Information about children
An adult should provide booking or inquiry information for a child in their care.
Who we share it with
Services used to operate the website, bookings, payments and communications may receive the information needed for those functions. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
Mobile and text-message privacy
Your mobile number is required for booking contact, but receiving text messages is optional. If you check the text-message consent box, Riverhouse Create may send transactional messages about class or event bookings, including confirmations, reminders, waitlist availability, schedule changes, cancellations and account-related service notices.
Mobile information and text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, rented or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use service providers such as Twilio only as needed to deliver and operate the messages you request.
Message frequency varies based on your bookings and account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Consent is not required to make a purchase.
