Tellin' Tales: The Craft of Storytelling
- Sunday, November 1 · 2 PM–5 PM
- Riverhouse Workshop — 63777 State Hwy. 59, Stockton, Alabama 36579
- $80
- With Harriet Outlaw and Suella McMillan
Harriet Outlaw and Suella McMillan begin by telling tales and showing how a story is made: its elements, skills and tactics.
Then you begin a story of your own. The afternoon is about the oral tradition—stories passed from one person to another—and there is room to listen as well as take part.
This is the first session of the Tellin' Tales Workshop, a three-part series on developing and presenting stories. Each session is booked on its own.
Refreshments are available throughout this informal afternoon.
