Riverhouse Folktales Theatre Co. builds a Christmas show with the children over five days of rehearsal in the Black Box.
They act and they narrate, and they also run the lighting, make the props and play the music live. Betty Poindexter makes the costumes and fits them to each child. Every child ends up doing more than one job.
Lunch and snacks are included each day.
On the last day at three o'clock the children perform it for the public.
Public performance on December 23 at 3 PM Central. Audience tickets are available for purchase separately.
Participation in this class is only available to children who have been approved by the director. Please contact Rell Dean at +1 (203) 564-6739 for more information.
